The Deer

The Deer is a delightful, detached barn conversion set in the grounds of the owner's home, close to the ancient village of Blakeney resting on the south-east edge of the brilliant Forest of Dean. This is a lovely cottage, nestled in an elevated position, overlooking an ancient cider orchard, and offering light and bright accommodation, as well as a hot tub.

This is a perfect romantic retreat from which to explore this beautiful corner of the country. The Deer has an open-plan living area  with a contemporary, well-equipped kitchen and a cosy sitting area where you’ll also find a TV to relax in front of after a busy day exploring the area. A  wet room is also located on the ground-floor. Climb the wrought iron spiral staircase to the first-floor bedroom that contains a sumptuous king sized  bed along with incredible views. To the front of the cottage is an enclosed decked area with furniture, ideal for a refreshing drink or for added indulgence, take a dip in the bubbling hot tub in the evening as the starry night begins to appear overhead.
